The PTSA Paw Print Scholarship recognizes students whose lives have been positively impacted by their experiences at Plant High School and who have a desire to continue their education in college. This scholarship is funded through the PTSA in a total amount not to exceed $1,000. During the application review process, the Review Committee may disburse this scholarship amount to one or more deserving applicants or may choose not to award the scholarship if it determines there is no application that meets the scholarship criteria.
The Judy Blanchard Scholarship was created in 1987 through a joint effort of the Plant PTSA and
Bob Blanchard, in memory of his wife, Judy. Judy Blanchard was a dedicated volunteer at PHS, serving in many capacities including President of Plant PTSA. Her leadership skills, community involvement and belief in academic excellence are benchmarks for this scholarship.
Each year, the Blanchard family generously donates to this scholarship fund. During the application review process, the Review Committee will disburse this scholarship amount to one or two deserving applicants.
